About Daily CS Nades
How the CS2 nade database is built
Daily CS Nades turns professional Counter-Strike 2 match evidence into a searchable utility resource. Players can start with the area a grenade lands, inspect the match context, and open the exact public guide when one is available.
Public catalog
Updated September 5, 2026
The website and downloadable dataset are generated from the same validated public catalog.
Evidence boundaries
Three counts, three different claims
Daily CS Nades keeps raw match observations separate from what can be mapped accurately and what a visitor can watch. That prevents a landing coordinate from being presented as a complete lineup before its throw has a public guide.
7,310
source events
Utility observations retained from the indexed professional match demos.
7,286
radar-tracked throws
Supported grenade landings that plot inside a calibrated public radar.
1,292
watchable lineups
Radar events connected to at least one verified public video guide.
Collection and verification
From a pro match demo to a searchable guide
01
Extract match evidence
Professional Counter-Strike 2 match demos supply the thrower, team at that match, side, round, grenade type and recorded world coordinates.
02
Calibrate the radar
Recorded positions are converted with the matching map radar transform. A landing is excluded from radar browsing when it cannot be plotted reliably.
03
Join the public guide
A verified long-form guide is linked to its source events and exact timestamps when available, but only after YouTube reports the video as public.
04
Validate the public catalog
The export checks entity relationships and radar bounds, removes private production fields, and writes the same catalog used by the website and downloads.
What the data supports
Match context and landing evidence
- Player, team at the source match, side, round, map and grenade type.
- Recorded throw and landing positions when present in the source event.
- Public guide IDs and exact event timestamps when they are verified.
- Callout names only when the catalog has a supported mapped label.
What is not inferred
Unknown values stay unknown
- A landing coordinate alone does not prove the starting position, aim reference, movement or throw input.
- Missing callouts and timestamps remain empty instead of receiving a guessed value.
- Historical team labels are not replaced with a player's current roster.
- Scheduled and private video metadata is not exposed in the public catalog.
Updates and publication
Public only after verification
The automated catalog audit runs hourly. It compares the verified source manifests with YouTube publishing state and deploys only when the validated public catalog changes.
A scheduled or private upload does not appear on Daily CS Nades. Once YouTube reports an approved guide as public, its events can join the matching map, player, team, utility and search pages during the next successful site deployment.
Public research data
Inspect the catalog behind the site
The dataset landing page documents entity fields, collection steps, current coverage, limitations, downloads and the recommended citation. Link to that canonical page when referencing catalog figures so readers can see the current scope beside the data.

About the database
Where does Daily CS Nades get its CS2 utility data?
Utility events come from professional Counter-Strike 2 match demos. The catalog preserves the player, team represented in that match, side, round, grenade type and recorded positions before any public guide is linked.
What is the difference between a tracked throw and a watchable lineup?
A tracked throw has a supported grenade type and a landing position that can be plotted on a calibrated radar. A watchable lineup also has at least one verified public video guide. The current catalog contains 7,286 tracked throws and 1,292 watchable lineups.
How often does the CS2 nade database update?
The automated catalog audit runs hourly. A new guide becomes visible only after YouTube reports it as public and the validated catalog change is deployed; scheduled and private uploads remain hidden.
Do team labels show a player's current team?
Not necessarily. Team labels describe the roster represented in the source match so historical utility evidence is not rewritten when a player changes teams.
How should the Daily CS Nades dataset be cited?
Use the canonical CS2 Pro Utility Dataset landing page. It provides the recommended citation together with the current update date, field definitions, collection method and coverage limitations.
